UNBREAKABLE

Wow what a year!

So after seeing PINK in August, I had my best friend from school’s Hens Night. (in the same month) We had an absolute ball in Brisbane. There was a 90s themed night where they played songs from the 90s – basically all night. Some songs I had completely forgotten about!

The bride is the second lady in the first photo.

In September my parents came to Bundaberg for a visit and a break from Lismore. Which is great as I never get to go away nowadays as I’m a night worker.

After one night – my parents get a call to say my dads father only has 2 days left to live. We were in a bit of a pickle as to what to do. I mean no one is ever prepared for that news. We had just got to the beach and had planned to have a nice relaxing day. We spent most of the day in shock, looking at each other and continually asking each other what we were going to do. My parents had just started their holiday – and just organised to stay a few more days.. I made the decision to go back to lismore the following day. As I thought it may be the last time I’ll ever get to see my pop again.

We get down to Lismore around 3:00pm and basically go straight to the hospital. That day was the worst I had ever seen pop. He had a tube down his nose to clear out all of his bowel. He was going in and out – but he knew we were there. I got a bit emotional as it’s hard seeing your loved ones in pain.

The next day we arrive at the hospital and it’s like pop was never in pain. He was cracking jokes (he found it hard to talk because of the tube) but we could make out most words.

There was a moment where the family was there and we were just around his bed – pop was starting into space and just for one moment, he looked directly at me and he said “Mandy Moo”. He signaled with his hand “come here”. I walk towards to bed and held his hand. It was just the most beautiful moment we had ever shared together. Out of everyone in the room and he focused on me. That to me – was our goodbyes. The whole room just went silent for this precious moment. I was so happy and so sad.

Pop held on for a few days – he was a true fighter. He was having mouth sprays – nothing else. Then he wanted ice and that’s the only thing he wanted – and could have as he was not allowed food. I spent his last night with him holding his hand taking breaks with my aunt Kymmy who had been there everyday. By morning I decided I would go home and have a sleep. By 4pm that afternoon – he passed away peacefully with his 4 grown up children around him. R.I.P Pop, I love you.

3 weeks later. I came back to Lismore for my best friends wedding. Even though the weather was crap it still was a beautiful ceremony.

This is the bridesmaid hair and make up:

Sara(maid of honor) Mikayla (Bride) and myself (Bridesmaid)

I also had my hair re done again for the wedding – I love it!

While in lismore I got to catch up with my family:

And of course – Miss Buttons!

So that’s basically everything in a nutshell! It was back to reality after the wedding, back to night duty.

I have taken a break from gaming (fortnite, call of duty) and have been focusing on my websites.

I have updated Moonshot’s layout & cleared out a lot of dead links. Click the image to view.

I have also re-booted my Message board – (yes, you’ll have to re join again) click the image to view.

Thanks to Tee for the header images. 🙂

That’s all for now!
Love & Light
